Sirens is awesome. It's no Infallible. But still. Glad to know you have some sense of taste.

For the longest time i kind of lumped it in with Backspacer as by far the bands two worst albums....then i gave these two my first back to back listen in years prior to Gigaton and i just thought Backspacer was significantly more enjoyable...still the bands two worst albums, but ever since then Lightning Bolt has been on its own as the bands studio album low point.
I think I agree

I hate that part at the start of the title track when he says that lady cums on Mike and Stone. Gross, creep!

The new DeEP magazine has a typo in the culinary section.

It says to "rinse of the potatoes"

Also, who is Josh Yoakam? I've been receiving his/your goods for about 2 years now.

Thanks

Yeah I had a similar experience when I relistened to them recently. Side 2 of LB is just ghastly, Yellow Moon aside. And actually I found Backspacer to be a much better album than I remembered. Though still clearly their second worst album by miles.

Someday Lightning Bolt will get the love it deserves. Probably not here. Probably not from you. But someday. I hope I live to see it.

If they re record it with another producer, rework half of the songs and leave future days out of it, well yeah!
