also, i'm starting to wonder if i should get a refund. Pavement is playing in Kansas City the same day as PJ in OKC. i think i waited far too long to see PJ, and it's not looking good.

You know what, I was thinking of Kansas City. They've got a killer World War 1 museum too.

What’s upsetting to me is not that they waited until the last minute, per se; it’s that cancelling earlier would’ve been the reasonable thing to do. And this band has been incredibly reasonable for the majority of their career. Which I think speaks to how upset Ed must be to not be thinking clearly, which is probably indicative of a pretty bad situation that’s clouded his typically sound judgment.
Or everything could have been trending in the right direction until a last minute vocal check/warmup.
