This is a pretty interesting take on the song. I think I like it...

this isn't a BAD arrangement, but again, it sounds so out of place on this album...

it kinda sounds like if PJ were to cover Jimmy Buffett

I actually really like the first part. Then the band feels like it needs to bombast a bit, before retreating to reveal the uke (...). It had a great little country shuffle quality to it, and it trades it in for nothing of merit.

yup. the reviews kept saying this one was "alt-country", which i would have liked if it had the tone of Down, but instead it sounds like a faux calypso tune.

apparently this appearing on the album was Brendan's idea... fuck that guy

Would have been neat as a B-side. As expected, it's weird on the album. Agree with the Buffet sentiment.

I'm enjoying this one. Not bad, but since it was a uke tune, I'd rather have Of The Earth.

no, i was agreeing with you 8-), the  was for the song

edit: this song would have been better as the last song on the album

The first minute of this is really good. Matt does some nice subtle work here.

I didn't mind this one at all. Kinda liked the little country shuffle.

i honestly wish this song was country tinged, it's not it sounds much more like a beach-y island tune

It is. A little bit. Matt's playing a country shuffle and there's some slide guitar going on.

This is a very good song, and this is a very good rendition. It could easily be a radio hit. But I still wish another song was there on the album, instead.

It sounds like BO'B wanted them to write something like that train song 'soul sister' or whatever it's called. That's what I think it's going to bust into
