calling a guy today about renting out our California house...our friends that have been staying there are going to travel and or move while we keep their place...I think we want to rent it furnished but would drive down to pick some stuff up..clothes, stereo, records, cd's, guitars, etc...once it back to a sellers market I think we'll sell it and stay up here..

It was only $90,000, bought in 2008. It was about all I could afford at the time, but I had a 30 year mortgage. Interest rates started to drop a lot so I refinanced to a 20 year loan in 2012 or 2013, while keeping almost exactly the same monthly payment.
