calling a guy today about renting out our California house...our friends that have been staying there are going to travel and or move while we keep their place...I think we want to rent it furnished but would drive down to pick some stuff up..clothes, stereo, records, cd's, guitars, etc...once it back to a sellers market I think we'll sell it and stay up here..

we're thinking about it..we have an agreement until this May or so..I think they want to sell this place but we'd probably rent it starting this summer until we decide...we're looking in Bellingham to as well as an opportunity in Vancouver...we'll see

I'm going to have the ol' townhouse paid off in May. I will probably never move because i'm a bum, but it will be nice to have more flexibility going forward.

It was only $90,000, bought in 2008. It was about all I could afford at the time, but I had a 30 year mortgage. Interest rates started to drop a lot so I refinanced to a 20 year loan in 2012 or 2013, while keeping almost exactly the same monthly payment. I’ve just been making extra payments or more here and there.
