i like this song a lot, but the reverb/vocal effect when Ed sings the line "easy come and easy go, easy left me long time agooooooo" made me actually cringe and laugh out loud

Not an amazing composition, but a nice addition to the stable of slow openers, if they go that way, which they should.

Is the line "To and fro / the pendulum throws"? That makes no sense. Pendulums swing.

the lyrics/vocal melody on this aren't that amazing, but musically it's probably their best/most interesting song since 'Binaural'
