What movies are you watching?

Yesterday I watched about an hour and a half of Alexander Revisted, which has 3.5 hours run time. I tried to pick it back up today and just couldn't get into it. Probably more so me than the film.

Spider-Man 3

This has a real Stardust feel to it.

No, but it does remind me of the Spider-Man comics I grew up reading. That does perhaps sound obvious, but it’s not, most Spider-Man movies don’t. Not saying this movie is great, however, they captured the feel of Spider-Man.

This has a real WCW feel to it.

Not paying for the PPV or staying up at night, but I will check it out tomorrow.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Last movie before going on holiday. Not sure yet how the evenings there will be, but we have to be there for our daughter when she is sleeping, so will probably be some room for movies at night.

I did. Maybe I should start with that as an introduction to the bela tarr aesthetic
