Yesterday I watched about an hour and a half of Alexander Revisted, which has 3.5 hours run time. I tried to pick it back up today and just couldn't get into it. Probably more so me than the film.

No, but it does remind me of the Spider-Man comics I grew up reading. That does perhaps sound obvious, but it’s not, most Spider-Man movies don’t. Not saying this movie is great, however, they captured the feel of Spider-Man.
This has a real WCW feel to it.

Are you going to watch Ric Flair's death match?
Not paying for the PPV or staying up at night, but I will check it out tomorrow.

Will you watch it?

Nope. I'm too cheap to buy any PPV.

Really enjoyed that. Very good movie. Never did read the book, even if I bought it a decade ago.

Now The Joneses.

All seven and a half hours of Satantango are leaving the Criterion Channel at the end of the month. I have never seen it (or any Bela Tarr for that matter). Should I make a go of it?

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Hannibal Rising

First time. Mediocre so far.

Last movie before going on holiday. Not sure yet how the evenings there will be, but we have to be there for our daughter when she is sleeping, so will probably be some room for movies at night.

Yes, go for it.

No, never seen it.

Still trying to finish The Gray Man; it is terrible.

I could download it to my ipad, see it on the six hour flight. But don’t plan to. Saw it not too long ago.
