Funnily enough I seem to have started a thread on this show two years ago lol. I totally forgot about it - but oh well I get to be surprised all over again.

Yeah, I recall being one of the fools hanging out outside the venue at some point during the show since I was there for the weekend for Lollapalooza. Never did get in but I could hear the muffled sounds coming from inside.

Caught a bit of the Vic show on Sirius/XM on the way home from work tonight. Ed's voice isn't a total caricature yet, this may be the last great Pearl Jam show.

That’s some hyperbole.

It has been quite some time but I just queued this up, I like the 1:47 run time.

edit: Woo boy, that was not a Lukin for the ages.

Wisconsin 2003. While the party atmosphere of the live shows may have begun to creep in during 2003, it's a party with a "fuck you" kind of vibe running through it. It's a party, but the band (Ed) is pissed off.

Memphis 2014
For me personally, best set list I've got to experience. Crossed off a few wishlist songs that night: Wash, Alone, 1/2 Full, Garden, Nothing As It Seems, Come Back, and Breath.
Even got a couple I didn't know I needed to hear live, LOL. Off the studio albums they were always just "meh" to me, but loved them live: All Night and Let the Records Play.

One of my favorite shows I've been to, that's for sure.

Werchter 2022. Well, finally this festival got a good show. Nice tour debut for Whipping and good renditions of DTE, Long Road, Black..

After the good shows in Frankfurt and Werchter Stockholm was underwhelming. Nothing remarkable here...

Can't stand on the Imola boot where Ed talks over the middle part of Yellow Ledbetter to introduce the band and thank the concert promoters.

Hyde Park II 2022
Was looking forward to that one because it has an interesting setlist. Unfortunately it's a slopfest.

Just finished listening to Amsterdam 2022. Considering he said early on that his voice wasn't fully back yet I think he sounded marvelous.

I've noticed this year that his general control is much better. He might have lost that upper register but his general singing has been great overall.
