Which should I trust - treadmill or Apple Watch stats?

I honestly dont know how good watches are at mapping treadmills. You would think the treadmill itself is accurate in tracking itself?lennytheweedwhacker wrote:Which should I trust - treadmill or Apple Watch stats?

Isn't the Apple Watch GPS the same as the phone GPS?

Re: The Running Thread
I skimmed a few articles that said trust the treadmill over the Apple watch. Especially the 3 which is what I have.
So I did 2.44 at 23:55. With the recent difficulties I’ve had I’ll take it.

I think this might depend on the shoe more than anything. I think you can tell when a shoe is dead.Malloy wrote:how often are you guys getting new shoes?

I’m new to this but like Dev said I’ve heard it depends on the shoe, and that you can usually tell. Range overall tends to be 300-500 miles.

Re: The Running Thread
thanks, friends. i've started to feel pain in my right knee and want to attribute it to the shoes rather than other worn-out hardware. cant tell if my shoes are dead, but i've definitely put between 350 and 400 miles on them.

Re: The Running Thread
got a beautiful 3 miler in yesterday. it started raining just as I began, which was so nice and refreshing, then it started pouring, and I was laughing and having so much fun. someone stopped and was like, you want a ride?! i'm like NO!!! .. no thanks! she's like, OK!! and drove off. After about 10 minutes it stopped raining and the sky opened up a beautiful florescent blue for the rest of the way. I haven't run in like 5 months so I'm happy to be getting back into it. can't wait to go again.
