Summerslam wasn’t bad, it was actually watchable which is an improvement. The opener and the main event were great, the rest was kind of filler.

Why do people hate squash matches so much? I think they're great. Watching these old wrestling episodes and its just squash after squash, but its great fun nonetheless.

Just a different business then, everything was about drawing crowds to the house shows. The tv ratings were irrelevant back then, squash matches still have their place today but you can’t book shows like it’s 1981 Jim Crockett when all your revenue is dependent on TV deals.

Think AEW has too many squash or near squash matches. Can nearly always tell who will win.

I love this guy's videos. His Walking the King's road series about late 80s/early 90s All Japan is fantastic.

At least for me, it’s really hard to get into stuff with Japanese commentary, but those videos were a great guide that made it easier.
