No one is surprised how this ended. I think we've all seen this play out between girls lots of times. One day Jenna, Sarah, and Danielle are the Bad Bitches Crew. The next day it's "Did you see what Jenna wore to Ashley's birthday!? She is such a whore!" Then everyone stops talking to Jenna and the next thing you know Sarah and Danielle form the Itty Bitty Titty Committee with Ashley. And then you drag us all into it. It was annoying when it happened in elementary school and it's annoying now. You all got what you deserved.

Then one day Jenna, Sarah, and Danielle realize the Bad Bitches Crew is irrevocably changed; indeed, the whole crew has grown far older and wiser than before. Jenna, who is determined to win her revenge on all of the Bad Bitches, is joined by her co-pilot, Danielle, as she begins to think about her future with the Bad Bitches - while Sarah is struggling to make sense of her feelings.

And what a story that is!

It doesn't get any better, however, when Jenna discovers a dark secret that they are being held captive by the Bad Bitches; Danielle cannot stop herself from taking on Danielle to protect them from the Dark. All of the Bad Bitches come out in revolt against the Dark, who are trying to kidnap Jenna's parents' home in order to use it against them. Jenna decides to take responsibility for her actions and will have to help in any way that she can to keep the Dark away from her.

Season One (2009-2010); the show also features an especially strong cliffhanger called "The New Ones"—where Karen, the new girl from the Bad Bitches, arrives and starts to teach Jenna. Jenna is initially a very trusting woman who believes in Danielle's worthiness and loves her; that will change when Danielle ends up taking on Danielle's parents as well—though she admits that she still thinks Jenna will end up hurting Karen. The Season One finale, "Darkening the Water," was filled with hilarious twists on what had been a very fun episode that never quite fell into the familiar formula of not leaving enough room for actual family stuff. But while a bit of the series' success may not have been so much about the writers' pen, there are just so many things to love about season one.

The series is actually still an unusual one, not to mention a lot longer. It started off as a very unusual and very entertaining story, with a very unique setting, which it also took inspiration from—and is always a joy to watch. With such a familiar cast, one can expect season two to be filled with some surprising twists. Whether that is with the finale of season two, season five, season six, season seven, or season eighth, season one will have to wait until season one concludes for us to really get to know them.
