I'd kill LTRP a thousand times before SBM or FD.

Yellow Moon sounds a little like a b-side from the period between Ten and Vs. I mean that in a nice way.

Also - neither of these is the Vine song. So what the hell was the Vine song? Scott Stapp? B-side? Stray Cats 2019?

well RM, I think this is a pretty great little record. Not their best, but something i strongly suspect will end up settling in the upper middle of the pack.

I look forward to putting the rotten kids to bed and being able to really listen

PJ albums always take a while for me to formulate a final opinion but so far I'm pretty negative.

When Sleeping By Myself came on I thought it was generic Spotify streaming commercial jingle music. It's pretty hideous and has no reason being on a full PJ album. Swallowed Whole has no place here either. It's an Ed solo tune and nothing more.

I was surprised how half-baked the whole thing feels. Infallible, Pendulum and Yellow Moon all show promise but they don't seem finished to me (YM comes closest to sounding done).

LB has no character or coherence. It sounds exactly like an album done in two sessions 18 months apart because well...

I like Getaway and Sirens a lot and I don't hate MYM anymore. The rest is just blah. 5 or 6/10. Weakest PJ album.

Oh, wow. I had quite a different reaction. Trying to temper my immediacy in saying that I feel confident that this album will land in my top three...

I'm really impressed that they are able to pull of this strong of an album 24 years into their career as a band. I'm happy.

I'm actually feeling top three as well...Everything about this album speaks to my soul in ways this band hasn't done since I was an angsty teen!!

Definitely shaping up to be a top heavy album for me...love the first 8, iffy on the last 4 (with the possible exception of Yellow Moon).

Not to get too carried away with Of The Earth but it is pretty hard to imagine what they were thinking leaving it off the album (or not even recording it in studio if BOB is to be trusted).
