Speaking of commercial misfires, the "Fleabass" he's using in this video was a huge flop. But they were discontinued so fast that they're actually worth quite a bit nowadays.

Anyway, he was smart to go back to Fender. Both of his signature Fenders are the bees knees.

I just watched the PJ segment. It’s weird that the email text seems to indicate payola but the stuff the narrator highlights is pretty generic radio promotion stuff.

Seems like a gray area.
