Wrapped up the yard sale about an hour and a half ago. Dropped off the remainder of stuff at GoodWill. Took youngest Weaseling to her mowing job. Just finished that and have taken her for her customary post now snow cone. After we get home from this, shower time then off to the grocery to pick up everything to make for the oldest Weaseling’s favorite meal. Prepare that for her and eat then after that load up the vehicles as much as we can tonight to move her into her college dorm tomorrow. Lots of bittersweet feelings going on right now.

How much you bring in?

Around $350 for us. A friend of Mrs Wease participated and did about $400 and Mrs Wease’s mom and aunt did $65 combined. So the total for everyone was just over $800

We did over $800 ourselves last weekend at the big Highway 127 yard sale so our total over the 2 weekends is just under $1200.

I still fucking hate yard sales.

I just took our youngest over to a friend’s to spend the night. She has cheer practice all afternoon and evening so she won’t get to go with us to move her sister tomorrow. She didn’t realize that her big sis won’t be coming back when we do and will officially be gone to college tomorrow. So she went and gave her a big hug* and got all teary-eyed and I just about fucking lost it. Tomorrow is going to be harder than I thought it was going to be.

*Which was incredibly huge since the oldest doesn’t really like to be all huggy-huggy.
