Well that seals it. No way I'm ever watching that movie.
Did you ever watch the first one?
Let me tell you, Homer Simpson is cock of nothing!

Then what’s your aversion to the second? By general consensus it’s a fantastic movie and speaking from my own experience, if you liked the first one you’ll like this one.

The first half of Iron Man was a lot better than I remember, made me reevaluate the movie. However, the second half is just ok, and I still landed on three stars. Jeff Bridges doesn’t work well as the villain.

It’s a fine movie though, a decent start to the MCU.

Oh, I don't really care for the first one. It's totally fine, I guess. But it never did anything for me. It's typical, insipid, and vapid. I like some of the music, though.

The second one doesn't look interesting at all. People love it, and that's great. I'm happy for them. But I've had very little interest in it. However, general enthusiasm was starting to wear me down and make me second guess my instructs. Now that Mickey has cosigned on it though I know I'm making the right decision.

I feel Joe would adore Maverick if he could let his own judgment behind and just approach art with an open mind

I still haven't seen the first one, but I really liked Maverick. I saw it twice. Probably won't bother with it on the small screen though.
