there are some good songs on Crack-Up, which came before Shore, but overall Shore is better.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:Better than any between those two that I didn't listen to.dad wrote:I would say so as well.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:Better than Helplessness Blues.dad wrote:it really is.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:Great album, guys.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:Fleet Foxes - Shore. toe - the book about my idle plot on a vague anxiety (2005*)
The drumming on this album is stunning. Outstanding playing and just a really pleasant drum sound. It sounds like you're in the room with the band!

Have you ever listened to the short-lived UK math rock band Clever Girl?

I dunno why Spotify says their one EP came out in 2018, I was listening to it in 2009

Spotify also told me that toe's debut came out in 2012, but it was 2005.Jorge wrote:I dunno why Spotify says their one EP came out in 2018, I was listening to it in 2009

The other day I heard this song on a Spotify playlist called Songs to Test Headphones With and was blown away. This might be the boot in the ass I needed to have my very own Costello kick.Malloy wrote:on an immense costello kick

This is the Kit - Moonshine Freeze
i'd never listened to this band before and had only heard of them because of them touring with and recording a couple of songs with The National. Moonshine Freeze was produced by John Parish of PJ Harvey.
earlier today, i listened to Bashed Out, which was released in 2015 and produced by Aaron Dessner.
it's been raining on and off today, and these have made for good rainy day music.

I've posted about these guys in the past. I enjoy her voice and I can see that they would indeed be good rainy day music.dad wrote:This is the Kit - Moonshine Freeze

Their 2020 release Off Off On is pretty solid too.
They remind me of someone but I can't quite put my finger on who.

Kate's vocals remind me *a bit* of Lætitia Sadier of Stereolab.dad wrote:digging it.Higgs wrote:I've posted about these guys in the past. I enjoy her voice and I can see that they would indeed be good rainy day music.dad wrote:This is the Kit - Moonshine Freeze
