I don't know why I was worried about this. I like it...a lot. I do wish we had a new song here, but I'm enjoying this.

I'm frustrated with this...because this is the approach SOS should have been given but no they had to make it the sum of their weaknesses.

meladori magpie, maybe (the SP song this reminds me).

The start of this is great, and totally warrants inclusion on the record. Some bits that got attached that don't need to be here.

Matt and Jeff are the heroes here.

Mike's solo (I assume it's mike) is unnecessary.

this is what they were going for with speed of sound, I think. They basically got it right this time.

I think it turned out okay. I laughed when it started, though.

Was anyone else reminded of Supertramp "Goodbye Stranger" at some point in the second half? That made me laugh too.

Nooo I like the solo. It's unnecessary in the same way that most of a KOL song is unnecessary but sounds really nice anyway.

Jeff is *really* good on this song. All the guitars are actually. Stone's electric has a similar sound to Sirens.

As someone who's never heard the solo ukulele version, I can say...this is pretty obviously a solo ukulele song that has been needlessly stretched to fit over a band' s full skeleton. I mean it's pretty, but contextually it just doesn't make much sense.

"I should have know there was someone else"

Goddamn what an opening line. Never picked up on that. Never bought the record, though.

SBM is the best original on the uke record and this version shows how in tune this band are as a unit.

hell, even my wife didn't like that record, and she's an Ed fanboy! :haha:

the first 20-25 minutes of his Minneapolis show were definitely "beer/piss break"
