Hey - I watched this over the weekend too! It was a bit trashy and one of the reveals seemed kinda tacked on and wasn't needed, but overall a fun ride.VinylGuy wrote:Fall.
That was so fun. Trashy fun. Both leads were hot as hell.

That’s a modern classic. I would like to see it again. Think I only saw it once when it was new, and didn’t love it. But it’s been 20 years.Mickey wrote:Donnie Darko

I haven't seen it since the early 2000s. We got about 45 minutes in last night.Anders wrote:That’s a modern classic. I would like to see it again. Think I only saw it once when it was new, and didn’t love it. But it’s been 20 years.Mickey wrote:Donnie Darko

yeah, the reveal is pretty much the same of 47 meters down, but it was still compelling enough to watch it.Rangi Guy wrote:Hey - I watched this over the weekend too! It was a bit trashy and one of the reveals seemed kinda tacked on and wasn't needed, but overall a fun ride.VinylGuy wrote:Fall.

I can't believe how bad Elvis was, and how many people whose taste I respect seemed to enjoy it

Re: What movies are you watching?
I don't write off movies based on their directors, there's been a bunch of times when a director whose work I've despised released a movie I've loved. Every director is capable of really good work and really bad work. And enough people whose aesthetic inclinations I share praised this movie so I checked it out. It was really bad.
