Album 12 they literally just attach a mic to Eddie and record him for 24 hours.
Looking forward to track 2: Morning Dump.
And despite all of that, it will still take 4+ years to make.
Well, Eddie does have to do some fixin'.
People will complain about how much better Morning Dump would have sounded without the lasers added.
Track 8: Getting out of Chair Grunting. Totally derivative of Arc, but more aggressive.
The weird thing will be when we find out BO'B didn't add lasers to Morning Dump, but that Ed prefers to take his morning dump with lasers going off all around him.
I have a feeling "Wife Nags Me While I Read The Paper" will be controversial though.

I'm just imagining this all happening with a Vedder-POV camera, and nobody but Eddie speaks intelligible words. Like, his wife is just a Charlie Brown drone, and he just opens up the next page and grunts "mmhhmmm".

Fuck, now I kinda want this film.
For real. This already the best thing they've done since Vitalogy.
Also, ABNorman and I are staking out spots as frontrunners in the "Who will be album #12's harmless?" stakes. Good luck catching up, folks.
"How much toilet paper could one woman need?" would make a greater opener, straight into "I don't give a shit about what you saw on Etsy today". End the album with "Has you sister lost weight? (A day of rage)".

At the risk of ruining it...
They need to throw BoB of a cliff for the next one.
Though I dunno if that would even help, what with Eddie 'chorus shitter' Vedder around.
There's a few songs on LB I like, but I pretty much have no faith in them ever making an album I like enough to listen all the way through. Pendulums the only song without some hideous melody/chorus/bridge/solo I wish wasn't there. Maybe SbM too. We're probably gonna have to wait another 4 years to find out too.
IN one of those interviews, jeff mentions how they never really go in thinking they're going for a specific sound. I don't know how he'd explain binaural then and based on vitalogy and backspacer, id think that ed does have an idea of how he wants to go sometimes.
But i digress, i think it could be cool if they did go in with a concept or idea or something, if something different comes up follow it for sure but starting with something could be cool. I'm not sure whether i like the toss out some songs and see what sticks approach. Though maybe we'd never get songs like pendulum then, cause i dont think they'd be into making a whole album with a similar sound.
My dream involves a record forged in a remote cottage on the shore of a spectacular lake with only drums, bass and guitar, amps and acoustics as well over four months, with private plane for jaunts out (to be realistic)...
