Re: Albums of 2022
Was dad in here talking about the new Porridge Radio at some point? Sorry - my brain is mush this year, I can't remember shit these days it seems.
Anyway, loving this. Post-punky slacker vibes. Right in my wheelhouse. Here's Jealousy:

Well, shit. Sorry Joey, my bad. You didn't jump into my mind straight away because I don't associate you with this particular style of tuneage.
Glad to be wrong though!

Re: Albums of 2022
OK, nothing ground-breaking or earth-shattering here, but Robin Trower released his 26th studio album this year. I don't recall ever listening to any of the previous 25, but thought I'd check out this one, No More Wolds to Conquer.
This is straight ahead blues rock, leaning towards the smooth. I do love a good blues stratocaster. This is actually a really good album, excellent for a back deck listen with a glass of nice scotch to hand. And I say that as a non-scotch drinker.
Here's Birdsong.

I haven't heard any more recent stuff, but Trower's early/mid 70s solo records are absolutely ace.

Re: Albums of 2022
That video is absolutely incredible. I thought the song was okay. The percussion sounded almost Aphex Twin-esque save for its complete disregard for a standard time signature to latch onto. Pretty out there stuff. Gotta respect it.
