Re: Lightning Bolt: The Official Album Thread
Im really enjoying this album, Infallible, Pendulum and Yellow Moon are my favorites after first listen.
The Infallible chorus wasnt what i was expecting but after reading the comments about it I prepared myself for something less darky and I think its pretty good.

I'd agree with you if Pendulum weren't on this record.stip wrote:Can't decide if Infallible or Yellow Moon are the best, but Yellow Moon may very well be their strongest slow song in a long long time

Playing catchup on 40 pages of posts. Has anyone already retracked this to include Cold Confession instead of Future Days or something similar?

There are highlights, and three of stips favored tracks are the worst things on here. Nothing unusual there.

Re: Lightning Bolt: The Official Album Thread
Almost every song sounds like a bad re-write of an earlier, better Pearl Jam song. Even the "quirky" stuff doesn't hold a candle to past attempts in that vein. Not that they should always top themselves, but shit, at least do *something* creative.
