If anders watches every movie there is and doesn't post in my "Fiction that changed your life" thread, I will consider his entire project a failure.

Well it certainly wasn’t the 2004 version of The Alamo.

The Reader now. Fourth last 2008 movie.
What are you going to do when you catch up to the present? Switch to TV programs? Poetry?
I think we should all come up with a new list for Anders to watch

I really want to read his thoughts on Greaser's Palace, Brawl in Cell Block 99, and Freddy Got Fingered
this is what we should do

Brawl In Cell Block 99 is on the list. 2017 though, a long way off. Saw it once on netflix. Five star movie for me.

Can not remember if I ever saw Freddy Got Fingered back in 2001, but have no recollection of it, and never rated it anywhere I rate movies (mostly imdb). Doubt I would like it.

Greaser’s Palace was a one star movie for me.

Men

I liked it well enough. It didn't quite work for me overall, but I admire that they really went for it at the end. Slightly too on the nose with its themes and symbolism? Perhaps. But I didn't really mind.

It's not Alex Garland's best movie, but I'm still a big fan of this guy.

Will watch Gran Torino tomorrow (and finish RocknRolla), and have then finished my list of 2008-movies for now.

2009 next (as well as a few 2000-2006 movies I have recently added).

he had so many great role...yeah, he is awesome on Thief.

I guess my favorite moment from him is his chat with Del Toro in The Way Of The Gun.
