He was also put on mediums instead of softs which pissed him off.

No, he didn’t pit at all. Russell only got to pit because he insisted on going to fresh softs.

Oh shit, that was a no-stopper? I misinterpreted the commentator saying that Lewis was complaining that he was on M instead of S.

missed this live but catching the highlights just now, looked like an exciting race

extra LOLs @ Sainz and his Ferrari pit stop, that guy just can't catch a break from the red team this year

Russell just looks like this brooding upsetter waiting to challenge Red Bull ... if Mercedes has a better car next year, should be interesting to watch him go toe to toe with Max

LEC qualifies P1 for Monza. VER doesn't seem the least bit worried.

I predict another RB victory.

i am wondering if F1 here will work to give Ferrari the W in order to generate viewership / interest the back half of the season... Red Bull has this in the bag, they can afford to 'lose' one ... let sexy Leclerc win in monza and energize the italian market ...

Yes, very poor ending to the race.

NDV driver of the day. Well deserved.

Sounds like Monza was terribly run. 1km queues to toilets and other amenities, drunk Ferrari fanboys aggressively demanding RB fans remove their hats with no security in sight etc.

And then the safety car finish. I'm happy for NDV but the event was pretty average overall. Do better, Italy!
