Finishing this now. I always liked Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch, and this has a little of that same unique feeling. Surprised I’ve never seen it.

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Will watch Gran Torino tomorrow, the final 2008 movie on my list.

Just started. Really been looking forward to seeing this again. Only saw it once, when it was fairly new.

Still loved Gran Torino. One of the best movies in the 2000-09 decade.

I can see why you would say that, but I thought the two youth Clint bonded with, did a great job. Their family members, did just fine in background roles.

Clint was at his very best.

Some of the gang members, and the police, did feel a bit like actors playing a part.
