Chilis, Applebees, Olive Garden, Red Lobster

Post by Jorge »

I've never been to any one of these restaurants

Am I missing anything? Is there anything salvageable? What should I order if I somehow find myself in one?

Also, rank these restaurants

go to each at least once.

quintessential american experience.

just order some appetizers and you'll be fine.

red lobster - cheddar bay biscuits.

olive garden - gorge yourself on the unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks.

applebees - i don't know...fuck...some boneless wings or something. just get trashed there.

chilis - get a molten lava cake, and get trashed.

Red Lobster wins it just on the strength of their biscuits. Other than that, you don’t really need to go to any of them.

We’re having a few of these open around Nashville lately. I’ve never been to one. Are they better than Five Guys?

i've only been to Five Guys a few times, and none of them were life-changing. the only memory of them is they go above and beyond on the fries, but even they're not that great.

Whataburger has been solid though. when i was in a really *dark place, Whataburger was of great comfort to me.

*going through a separation/divorce, sitting in a parked car next to a railroad crossing, eating a double bacon cheeseburger w/a side of fries, wondering what the hell i was going to do with my life.

yeah, man. fuck five guys. they were absent when i needed something.
