Re: Chilis, Applebees, Olive Garden, Red Lobster
normally a cheeseburger is pretty manageable at a place like chili's / appelbees
i think i went to an olive garden once and it was disgusting. maybe there is something safe looking on the kid's menu like chicken nuggets
red lobster - definitely the biscuits. in terms of seafood, you have to vet the menu with the waiter to try and find the closest thing they have to wild caught and not frozen AND not seasoned, they put way too much garlic and shit on their fish. i think their soups are probably ok

Re: Chilis, Applebees, Olive Garden, Red Lobster
Check out Red Lobster if you get the chance. Even if just for the buscuits.
Chilis and Applebees are forgettable. Unless you're looking to go for the lulz, you can absolutely skip those.
Olive Garden is not a "must go" but it can be fun and is worth it if you have the time. But you don't need to go out of your way. If the opportunity presents itself, sure!
