One calm, quiet evening while fishing, as the sun began to set, dark clouds began to appear. Curious how they appeared so quickly, as if out of nowhere. The weather report had not warned of this. As the brief moments passed, they took on a dark violet tone, and somehow too a bright red hue. All at once it was immediately all around me, enveloping my very soul, it seemed. The mist was at once moist and dry. In my fear and confusion I hastily packed up my gear and headed for the car. Next thing I knew I was awake in my bed and the car was still at the fishing lake. I'll never know what happened in those moments between, and I've never been the same since.
