Clerks III

Felt like middle age, but I was moved by it if only because of personal circumstances it touched on

The Revenant

Can you believe I've never seen it? Me. Of all people. I love all these wilderness movies. I love inarritu.

Anyway I like it. It's good. Maybe some pacing issues. Might have been more interesting with the forgiveness message of the original story instead of a revenge flick. Oh well.

Hardy is good in this. I don't always say that. But I'm saying it now. Add it to the record.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Curious. The bear was defending her young, while McAfee abandoned his daughter.

Try again!

They said the bear looked fake, but I thought it looked pretty real.

Missouri Breaks

What the hell did I just watch? Is it a comedy? Some kind of violent western thriller? That Brando is such a crazy kook! What is he doing in those silly hats?

It has it's moments, though. Not terrible, but not great.

Is there a lot of sex in them?
Not really, probably on par with Hollywood movies in that regard.

That was really bleak. Well executed, but not really enjoyable.

Will start The Time Traveler’s Wife, before heading out for a walk, and lunch in the city.
