I'm not a very emotional or sentimental person, but there was a moment last night where the lights hit the band just right that really got to me. They were standing close together, fully absorbed in the music and it looked like a scene straight out of 1993.

Yeah, you see Jeff sitting at the end of Ledbetter and Ed came up and just put his hands on his shoulders? These guys love each other. It’s such a privilege to be a part of this thing for 30 years. The friend I was with was seeing PJ for the 50th time yesterday, but it was the first since 2018. He was crying during Ledbetter.

I teared up a bit on Retrograde. Gigaton came out a month before my dad passed away, and I played a lot of Retrograde to get me through his final few weeks in May.

Awesome show, had a great time. Great set and the band sounded tight. The end of Retrograde was so much fun.

Sorry I missed you evenslow! Dammit! I had my phone on airplane mode for most of the show bc I forgot to charge it, and needed to save some juice in case I needed to call an uber. So didn’t see strat’s messages until after I got back to hotel. Glad you guys got to meetup!
