First episode down. A lot to take in.

Kind of Like Obi-Wan firsts episode.

It doesn’t feel particularly Star Wars at this stage.

It could be any sci-fi spy movie.

A pal in Northern Ireland spotted this has locals banging on metal to raise the alarm as imperial corporate troops roll in
Just as the banging of metal bin lids in Belfast during the troubles did the same.
This series is about Rebellion so I’m excited to see what comes next

I’m glad they dropped these three first. I didn’t get it initially after watching the first two but then it made sense watching the third.

There’s all the backstory and world building done. I’d say we’re in for a more political intrigue / spy mission kinda thing here on in.

People are fvkin dumb. Writing this off already. You’ve seen 1/4 of a 12 episode season instagram.com/woodenideas clowns.

Love it.

Direction, cinematography, effects (mostly), script, music, sets, acting (a great supporting cast, most notably). All great. Professional filmmaking.

Watched two of three and I goddamn love it so far. So different and so gripping.

My only critique would be that this shouldn't be broken up. Just make a two hour pilot.

Two episodes in, kinda aimless and boring. Hoping ep3 saves the day.

All caught up.

This is pretty fantastic. Did I hear a "shit" in Star Wars?!

I love the tone. More real locations really help this thing out. The writing is far better than any of the previous SW shows so far. There are still moments when it feels a little cheap, though. The VFX still don't totally live up to expectations. But, again, having real, lived-in surroundings really help with suspension of disbelief when it dips into video-game cut scene territory.

The show doesn't really "feel like Star Wars" which is weird but also a nice change of pace. The cast is fantastic. I hope we get more of Bix. She's such a compelling character even with the limited stuff we've seen so far.

Anyway, I'm so excited for this ride.
