So the Foos are headlining Sunday night at Bonnaroo. Have they announced a new drummer?

I had honestly hoped they would give it two years and then re-emerge with a new album Dave played on and new touring drummer Nandi Bushell. They could have had her up to speed in a year’s time. That would have been huge!

Way too much pressure/commitment for a kid. What an absurd suggestion.

Yeah, that's a terrible idea.

Maybe they should just have a hired touring drummer and Dave can play on the records.

2 years from this spring she’d be 15. There are plenty of 15 year olds in the world doing much harder work daily. And pressure? Nadia Comaneci won the gold medal at 14. Michael Jackson was 11 or 12 when the Jackson 5 had their first number 1 single. She’s already super famous. Her family is clearly encouraging and supportive. But whatever, you’re right. Absurd. Just bring in fucking Josh Freese to re-establish the vanilla machine that the Foo Fighters have been for over a decade.

Imagine using Michael Jackson as an example of heaping pressure on a child working out. Jesus Christ.
