Good point. LOTR show as well, although it hasn’t been great so far.bada wrote:Between this and House of the Dragon it's a fine time to be a genre fan.

Depends on the time jump. But, yes we will see him. I think Tudyk may have already recorded some stuff. There were rumors a while back.Simple Torture wrote:100%. I imagine not until Season 2.Greedo wrote:Are we going to see K2SO in this series?

Rumoured for season two yeah. Would love to see him and early.
We might get him before the end of the season. There’s 8 episodes left and theyre going to steal imperial shit. And they like keeping these surprises too let’s not forget.

I thought K2SO was Skarsgård's ship.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Definitely a slow burn but I love every second of it. The deliberate pace is going to pay off in the long run.

Is noir the right term? This almost feels like one of those cool Scandinavian dramas

Episode 5 - middle episode of the arc setting up more layers.
We are slowly getting to the conclusion.
I like Andors new crew I assume not many will make it out the next episode alive.

Live action rebels/clone wars essentially. The 3 arc thing structure i guess it what makes me think that. The Only thing is rebels episodes are 20-25 minutes long where Andor is 40.
But episode 3 the finale to the first arc was outstanding. So next episode should be cool.
Mando first 3 episodes were an arc of sorts I guess.

I really really really wish I was enjoying the Rings of Power as much as I'm enjoying this. I got more of an emotional kick from the last episode when that Tie Fighter was flying over the rebels than the entire 6 episodes of Rings. I'm sky high for this show.Anders wrote:Good point. Re: Star Wars: Andor (Disney+)
The whole noir/espionage/stylised feel is brilliant. A COMPLETELY different take on Star Wars and allowed to breathe and develop.
If I’ve one gripe it would be make the episodes longer and shorten the series. The episodes just stop randomly. I get that works for some. I just leave it frustrated. You were *so close* but that’s a Star Wars hangover expecting a cliffhanger. These are cliffhanger’s too but in the inverse sense

I'd be inclined to agree. But then again I'm sure we'd be taking about different "Jedi".McParadigm wrote:This is the best post-Jedi Star Wars. Fantastic.

I've very excited to see this celestial event in the next episode.
