A Single Man
Sixth last 2009 movie, and the last one I have never seen before on the current list from 2009 (or 2000-2009).

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Yeah. It's no great movie, and it's occasionally overwrought, but it's not the worst way to spend two hours if you're in the mood for something entertaining. Lashana Lynch is the standoutlennytheweedwhacker wrote:Anybody seen The Woman King?

I’m jonesing a bit to see something in the theater. And I don’t want it to be Avatar. The Argonaut wrote:Yeah. Re: What movies are you watching?
Well I can relate to your post in GD just now about not being able to focus on something for more than 2 seconds. I don't know if it's the specific SSRI's I got on around 4 years ago, but I also have the hardest time reading, watching movies without breaking them up, etc...So I seek them out far less.Malloy wrote:oh my god dg you'll love it!lennytheweedwhacker wrote:I still haven't seen Three BillboardsMalloy wrote:i know you love martin mcdonagh so just come off itlennytheweedwhacker wrote:I don’t know about those artsy worksMalloy wrote:lennytheweedwhacker wrote:I’m jonesing a bit to see something in the theater.
