Chappelle should switch to one of those headset mics that make it look the person has a worrisome growth on their face, to see if everyone else does it too.

Re: Things you have an irrational hatred of
Sometimes I post in this thread, and you guys tell me all the reasons I shouldn't hate what I hate. I hate that. I can hate what I want, and it's supposed to be irrational. So stop trying to rationalize away my hate!
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Which I’m more than glad to do; grateful, even, that I can do it.
But let’s not pretend there’s some big mystery around the question you want me to answer.
I really hate this. The Qdoba I go to is doing this now - "It's going to ask you a question"

Would you like the interaction if they flipped it and said, 'Now, you have to designate how much you are going to tip me."?

There are a handful of places like that I will tip, and only because their service is always excellent. One of those also hasn’t upped their prices much at all since Covid, so I’m more than glad to add to the total
And they say that a hero could save us
I'm not gonna stand here and wait

Sometimes I feel like george Costanza when I tip and realize that they left the area without seeing that I tipped.
