Looks like I'm fucked! I'm glad I lost to you tk, you do have a killer list. This was fun, thanks for including me gents. I'll still be voting for the rest of the tourney (I assume that's allowed).

Sorry guys, I'm on holidays and I'm getting yelled at for being on the internet doing 'song tournaments.' i find them hard to explain to friends and family. I'll be home in 24 hours and I'll be on a lot more then.

teekay wins 7-2.

next round :psycho vs. stip. Voting open!

I vote for me, but Bain's first 4 picks are stellar, as is slide machine. And field song and stay are really good. Can't catch the train, I'll take care of you, and blues run the game are decent. It's a very solid team.

Bain has a huge team. I love Leviathan and Can't Catch the Train, among others. Gotta go Bane.

Saw him last night. As good as the Gutter Twins show from 4 years ago. Man, this guy really still has it. Weird backup band, but it seemed to work with the vibe of the show. Also, a guy close to me in the crowd took a hit of crack during the encore..

Was it full band? Acoustic? Catalog coverage?

I'm assuming the set list was generally the same as the LA show (didn't see it posted over at onewhiskey)?

Anyone go to the Seattle show? I'm so fucking pumped for the Philly and DC shows this weekend.

Another tough round to call. Bain had some excellent typically overlooked choices (slide machine, can't catch the train, leviathan), plus you ended incredibly well with Stay. BUT, Stip has a few of all time favs (carnival, shadow of the season, you will miss me, hotel, judas) plus one of the best songs of the summer (Mescalito).

By a hair, my vote has to go to stipster
