Getting back to Dawes momentarily, revisiting their newest album, Misadventures of Doomscroller, and Ghost in the Machine definitely demonstrates those jam bona fides.

Marcus King released a cover of Crazy (Gnarls Barkley), and It’s Too Late with his full band. It is amazing how weirdly similar he sounds to Cee Lo Green. I wouldn’t have expected that. It’s on Spotify as Spotify Singles.

Tonight I watched Goose’s show from this summer at Red Rocks. They’re really quite good. So much improvisation with very little spacing out. I think this is the fourth show I have watched or listened to. Dying to see them but sold out of the Capitol Theatre shows sadly. Guess I gotta wait for their inevitable arena show.
