Grounded has been a good combination of rewarding and terrifying. Stressful and yet, really fun survival game.

Now that I’ve put a lot of time into Deathloop, I can say its one of the most unique, well designed games I’ve played. I can see why it got crazy high scores.

I wasn’t super interested in Redfall but if its like this, I’m in.

I beat Disco Elysium yesterday. That was the most original game I've played in years - it's look, it's controls, it's concept- everything! Probably the most text in a game I've ever played though. I'm not sure how I feel that the core development team is a subset of an actual cult.

I recently bought this again so I can play it on Xbox next time. I'm trying to decide what's a good amount of time to wait to do a new playthrough (it's been about a year and a half).

I solved the case and got interrogated by my team and remained their leader. But 7 people died at the shootout earlier in the game. I completed most quest lines. Only ones I didn't complete was the Cuno one (I failed at least 3 times with a success probability of >90%) and the final mixtape. I'm guessing there was also the Cocaine Skull quest I missed, but you could only start it when your partner wasn't present - I missed the window. That one never appeared in the quest menu though. I'm happy I finished the phasmid quest.

After Googling, I got the Recruit Kim Kitsuragi ending.

Sounds like we had similar experiences. I agree about the phasmid quest being particularly compelling.

I also ended the game with Kim by my side. I did some googling after finishing and apparently:
Spoiler: show
If Kim dies in the shootout, you can recruit Cuno to be your sidekick, but that leads to a different ending for the phasmid quest.
I did an intellectual playthrough the first time (very high in Encyclopedia, for example, which helped me learn about the world). If I played through it again, I'm thinking of doing a big brusier/fascist playthrough to see how things change.

I guess a bunch of the people deeply involved with Disco Elysium were recently (like this month) fired by the studio, and the collective around it has been dissolved.

I really hope the writer's novel gets translated to English someday.

I read that Zaum (?) is a cult and the development team which is also named Zaum was a subset of the cult. It's so bizzare. I wouldn't be surprised if the sequel falls apart entirely.

It sounds like that's where it's heading.

Now he's suing Zaum.

Persona 5 (god damn these JRPG’s take a while to get going)
Deathloop - about 60% done. This game rules
Grounded - great survival game
MW2 - The UI is horrendous but MW is the only COD’s I like to buy

Is the text on screen completely unreadable (too small)?

I really only play MP. Played two missions of the campaign and that was it.

The 1-2 punch of Death's Door and Mario+Rabbids is hitting the spot right now.
