4.41 miles at a 10:57 pace, without walking. The last .41 was at a 7:52 pace. Heart rate was down 5 beats also. It felt nice and mostly effortless. Hopefully this lends it self to shorter faster runs.

Do you do a loop starting from home and ending at home, or do you just start at the top of a big hill and run exclusively downhill?lennytheweedwhacker wrote:4.41 miles at a 10:57 pace, without walking. Tonight an old friend who I only keep up with on Strava and Instagram came to my restaurant with her girlfriend, and we all talked about running and races for like half an hour. We sort of decided to sign up together for the Houston half in January. Good connections.

Re: The Running Thread
Ran my second seven miler of the week. Got up super early to hit the gym for a treadmill run. But it wasn't raining! So I got out to the park before sunrise.
9:38 pace.

4.10 at a 10:15 pace, with no walking. I didn’t go as far as I have been recently, but took a lot more off the pace than I expected. I’m happy.

4.44 in 47 minutes. Furthest I’ve gone without walking and did the last .44 at a 7:49 pace. I’ll take it.

Re: The Running Thread
With the upcoming time change I will need to get morning runs in. Only did 3.35 this morning and didn’t finish particularly strongly.. Wish I could have gone further, but my pace was decent so I’ll take it.

It was okay this morning, and it will be warmer here than your area of course. I just won’t have enough time at lunch generally for longer runs. The Argonaut wrote:But it's so cold in the morning these days

Crappy run Monday evening. Better run this morning. Still going slowly, but no walking.
