i love my dad to death. but he has this annoying habit of adding onto whatever you say to always sound like an authority about everything, most of the time having no idea what he's talking about. example:

my mother to me: "do you need to keep adding charcoal to your ceramic grill to keep it hot?"
me: "you shouldn't, unless you're cooking something for a really, really long time. it maintains and holds the same temperature"
my father, unprompted: "yeah, it should last you at least an hour, sometimes more."*

*Note: my father has never cooked on a big green egg or kamado joe and has no clue how they work. Also note: the charcoal lasts WAY longer than an hour dad.

He DID say at least an hour…

I know there are at least three cans of diced tomatoes and one can of petite diced tomatoes. I don't think there are any whole tomatoes, though.

There is not a stepladder, but there is a stepstool.

Cereal stays in its original box, but a rubber band goes around the original bag.

Canned beans. Dried beans are much cheaper and probably worth the extra work, but it is still extra work and planning. I'm also afraid of poisoning myself

I will select Mickey Rivers, who at 5'10" 165 pounds was apparently the smallest guy on that year's roster. I feel it would be difficult to fit two people in there comfortably. I measured and the pantry is approximately 8 feet by 6.5 feet, with a 7'9" ceiling. I wouldn't want to share that space with a hulking giant for too long

Why just tonight a person was walking down the alley when their swamp-ass phone went off and my neighbor commented "what is that? Do you hear that?" .
