I watched 1 and 2 yesterday. 1 was surprisingly good and 2 was ok. I hear 3 is a good one so I'm looking forward to checking it out tonight.

I was never the biggest fan of the series as a whole, but I always like 1 and 4 the best. Dream Warriors has a rep as the best of the sequels but I find it alternately cheesy, stupid, and depressing.

Yeah, I was very impressed by some of the practical effects used. I love how inventive film makers used to have to be with effects.

It would be worth a stream.

Cabinet Of Curiosities first ep was mildly ok but the season seems it could have a few good ones

Watched 28 Days Later for the first time since seeing it in theaters. Still generally meh and my god does that movie look like shit. Realize it was (partially) a stylistic choice but at first I thought my wifi was acting up

Do you know The Empty Man? Is a cosmic horror movie from 2020 directed by David Prior, that got stuck in the merge of Fox and Disney and the director esentially got screwed. This guy is a collaborator of David Fincher, and pretty much share his style. Well, Prior directs the third episode of Cabinet of Curiosities and is fucking great. You should check it out.

Rewatched Halloween 2018 (hadn't seen it since seeing it in the theatre) - it held up really well, and is by far the best of the new trilogy.

Original. Watched ED2 tonight and I still prefer the first, although it’s close.

So I finished watching all of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies.

I'd rank them like this -

A Nightmare on Elm Street
Wes Craven's New Nightmare
NOES 3
Freddy vs Jason
NOES 4

NOES 2

NOES 5
NOES 6

I didn't watch the reboot and I don't think I will. I hear it's no fun at all.

Nightmare 4 and 5 should be way up there, specially with Freddy Vs Jason being in 4th place
