Did you start whipping the instructor with your belt to assert dominance?

Waiting around for the roofing company to set up scaffolding in my yard. They stopped by yesterday to protect the artificial grass with tarps and plywood sheets.

Getting ready to walk up to the square for Cookin’ on the Square. It’s an annual event our town puts on to raise money for Habitat For Humanity. A ton of local businesses host booths and dish out gumbo, chili and the like. It’s just about my favorite thing that happens every year. One company has a special knack for seafood bisque and have actually let me take any leftovers they have home. It’s some of the best bisque I’ve ever had.

It’s looking good. There’s 11 minutes to go and they still have a whole big stock pot of it.

The key to not having people over is to not live in a place that’s big enough to hold them

Exactly. Luckily, Mrs Wease bought a house that’s big enough for us to host both sides of the family for every holiday, birthday and picnic.

one friend who is the only single guy here and a die hard chargers fan will get a small air matress half filled with air and a small airline type pillow..the other couple from LA will have a nice king size blow up..this house is on an island that only works on septic tanks so hopefully no one showers or flushes at the same time..
