God I love The Town

Really well made, good actors, nice setting. Enjoyed watching it for a second time (first was 6-7 years ago).

The Firm. Got less interesting as it went plot-wise. Was alright though.

That and a few other movies had something special when watched back in the 90s. Very modern look, action filled thriller, easy story. Really enjoyed those movies back then. Can watch it now as well, but it won't feel quite the same.

Natalie Portman’s performance in Black Swan would have won best actress in just about any year, if the movie was released at another time. Magnificent.

And now True Grit to finish off 2010.

Not quite as good as the John Wayne version, even if it is expertly made in a more modern way, and with the Coen’s humor mixed in. Still a four star movie. A worthy finish to the year.
