Finally the band has some real good music to share, great stories to tell, no skippers to skip. I'm not sure if i like the album but i really like each song on it. For me it's like listening to a bunch of some forgotten pearls from the records i like the most. I'm glad there's noting which reminds me of riot act and s/t era (for me that's a really good thing)

I can't remember them now, but there were a couple times as I listened to this in the car this morning where I was like "damnit, Ed, you don't have to explain that!"

I'd be interested in your examples at some point, but I agree with your general point. It's interesting that he's gone from "Ghost" (where he explains nothing, and MAN it works) to this.

Apparently he was trying too hard to make stuff cryptic before, now he lets it aaaall hand out, gut, back fat, fupa, all of it. More visceral less cerebral.

I haven't heard inside job in long enough to remember if its worse than ltrp. All I remember is hideous vocals.
