I think I love the patina I’ve built up over the years on my cast iron about as much as anything else in my kitchen (and that includes the left over fried chicken in my refrigerator).

I usually add a little dish soap to my cast iron when cleaning (it doesn’t strip the seasoning like it would a carbon steel).

I cook eggs in mine all the time. No 45-minute clean time. Storing it takes about 3 seconds
