Where’s this coming from? My boyfriend thinks she’s gonna turn too. She’s clearly not going to?

Denise Gough on the character-

“It’s really important to me that there are no factions outlined: it’s important that Dedra feels like the heroine of her story, and that’s why she’s scary. She is a fascist. She believes in something, but it is fascism. At first you have to root for her, you feel like you’re rooting for her, but then you realize that no matter how strong a woman she is in a world of men, you realize that she is just a fascist in a world of fascists.

Power corrodes everyone, men and women: she never apologizes, believes in everything she does and truly believes that she will save the galaxy, so she is credible and frightening. Cassian could also be a villain if you think about it, he kills both at the beginning of the series and the movie. He’s the villain of someone else’s story.

Whoever you are and however you identify yourself, there is both light and darkness in you. Although obviously in Dedra there is just a bit more darkness.”
That’s a great quote.

If Andor doesn’t break out next ep, I’m done. The prison is cool, buts it’s gone on an ep or two too long.

When will season 2 be released? The wait between seasons is going to feel like an eternity.

Watched the first 6 eps today and loved it. This show is meant to be seen three at a time. They should release them that way every 3 weeks for season 2. Build anticipation and make it event tv. I will wait on 7-9 until the weekend before 12 comes out, and then I’ll do 10-12 the day of that release.

They start filming for season 2 at the end of this month.

"The second season is scheduled to begin filming in November 2022 and last until August 2023, with Gilroy anticipating a year for post-production as with the first season. Episodes will once again be filmed in "blocks" of three episodes at a time, with each block moving the story a year closer to the events of Rogue One. Gilroy stated he would not direct in the second season because of his commitments as showrunner"

Mid/late 2024 would be my guess.

Star Wars will be banned. All Stories about rebellion will be deemed seditious.
Star Wars be remade in 2024 when trump returns as president and the empire written as the good guys.

This show. Jesus. The acting is above top notch. Serkis and Luna are incredible. This is the best thing on TV right now.
