Neighbors are already flying their Trump/DeSantis 2024 flags. I just don’t see DeSantis running as second fiddle to Trump like that.

They never want to; they’re just advised it’s the best way to set up a presidential run next time. The question is, would Trump want him. Since he apparently wants to be president forever, he may see him as his greatest threat in 2028, and wouldn’t want to aid in his ascension.
