Spirited was very disappointing.

How can something with Will Ferrell,Ryan Reynolds and Tracey Morgan be so unfunny.

What you think?
I thought I remembered you liking this a lot. I'm half way through and think it's good enough. Didn't know this was a GVS 'n.
I think it’s probably the best of all the movies centered on sobriety. Tells a story. Doesn’t pulverize you with the message.
I can see that. But for my taste it may just be subtle to a fault.
Alright, yeah, it works better for me now. I'd give it a 7.7/10. Well worth the watch.
This actually feels like a grower to me. May need to watch it again soon. 8.3 out of 10

Yes. It's good. It's like Triangle of Sadness but more focused. I mentioned Ralph Fiennes and Nic Hoult as reasons I was interested in the movie, but Hong Chau ends up being the standout

I stayed awake! But came home and went directly to the bed.

I had fun with this. And yeah Chau was great here, as was Fiennes. Big shocker there.

I've excited to see it -- or rather I'm interested to see it, and I think it looks promising. But I've never read the book, and I'd like to read it before I see it, so it'll probably be awhile before I actually check it out.

i will see it and i'm interested because the trailer happily surprised me, though i expect to be disappointed. if any of you ever read libra, which i encourage you to do, you'd understand the extent to which my counterfactual is inspired!!
