Just finished it. I've been watching a lot of The Office lately, so, dramatic Steve Carrell was an extra level of disbelief I needed to suspend to take him seriously. But it's a really good movie. Chalamet really is a great actor. It tells a story, it has a message. It's well made. Tear jerker, especially as a parent.tree_ wrote:Beautiful Boy. Godamnit, Chalamet.

Yeah Carrell is really good. It's just The Office that led me astray for a bit.

Re: What movies are you watching?
When I went to see The Menu they were having a screening of Bones and All across the hall. We walked up and there were these folks outside with chairs and cards and they were all, "Are you here to see Bones and All?!" and I was like, "No, sorry."lennytheweedwhacker wrote:Speaking of him, Bones and All looks interesting.
And they looked at me and my wife like we had each had two heads, and all of our heads insulted a different member of their family in a new way. "Oh..." they said and walked away.
Turns out, they wanted feedback from the audience after the screening. Man, I wish I'd had tickets to see it right then.

True. A bit different than what I was expecting and I wasn't completely enamored, but it was fun enough.BurtReynolds wrote:I thought it was cute. Kind of a throwback.
