The first trailer piqued my interest, but I've been trying to avoid too much about it so it can all be new to me.Monkey_Driven wrote:This is the first I've heard of the game. Looks intriguing!Simple Torture wrote:Excited for Pentiment, got it pre-loaded and ready to go next Tuesday.

I had no idea they had a new one out. Pillars of Eternity are some of the best games ever made.

The free next gen update for Witcher 3 may be the impetus to give it another go.

I’ve never played it. Might be my time to give it a try.

Re: Upcoming Games / Gaming News
I've gotten about 2-4 hours into the game twice now. I found the gameplay to be incredibly clunky. Everything else was top notch.
It's revered by many, so there's definitely some things worth sticking around for. Just have to find the right time in the calendar to devote enough time to it.

If it felt clunky before, it might not be a good idea to go from the ultra smooth combat of God of War to Witcher 3. You might want to play a buffer game in between.Monkey_Driven wrote:I've gotten about 2-4 hours into the game twice now. I found the gameplay to be incredibly clunky. Everything else was top notch.

I need to finish Resident Evil 3 Remake, so that might be a good candidate.

Re: Upcoming Games / Gaming News
It's definitely worth sticking with it and getting in the groove. IIRC i found the first 5-10 hours of the Witcher to be a bit of a hurdle to get into as well. It's been a while since I've played but I think my issue was partly due to being overwhelmed with excessive inventory early on, and learning how to research and plan my attacks on specific monsters types. Plus I don't think the game really holds your hand in the opening hours.Monkey_Driven wrote:CopperTom wrote:If it felt clunky before, it might not be a good idea to go from the ultra smooth combat of God of War to Witcher 3. Now that the next gen upgrade is out that may be the kicker I need to give it another play.
